CEECC - About us


Colchester & East Essex Cricket Club (CEECC or the Club) is an outstanding community cricket club with charitable status and is a breeding ground for excellence. England stars Graham Napier, Reece Topley and Ben Foakes all spent formative years at the club. More recently, Tom Blundell, current New Zealand wicket-keeper, also played with the Club.

CEECC has a thriving Women’s Section with top talent at Essex and Sunrisers. We have over 100 junior members who are the stars of the future and we are a bastion of the local community.​

  • In 2022, the Men’s 1st XI finished 3rd in the Essex Premier League, having gained promotion in 2020 from Division One​.
  • The Men’s Under 19s have been the Essex T20 champions for 2020, 2021 and 2022.​
  • In 2022 the Women's 1st XI finished runners-up in the Southern Premier League Division One.
  • Our boys' junior teams regularly dominate local area T20 competitions.​
  • We completed a significant pavilion redevelopment in 2022.
  • We are national leaders in live match day coverage and online representation.
