COLCHESTER
& EAST ESSSEX C.C NEWS
-COACHING ROTA
This is a really important scheme that we run in the cricket club.
Our numbers of Kwik cricketers are constantly increasing on a Sunday morning. We now have a number of newly qualified coaches and they do not appear on this rota as they will be at the sessions more regularly. However we still need more assistance to cope with the numbers.
Please ensure you attend your session and do your bit for the club - it is just 2 hours of your time once a season.
If you cannot make your session you must swap with someone else on the rota below - this will be stuck up inside the pavilion - please do not ring me or Chunky it is your responsibility. If you fail to show up for your session or arrange for a replacement you will have to pay £10 into club funds to continue funding for the provision of newly qualified coaches.

CLOTHING UPDATE
Kit for the new season is now available. Training t-shirts, shorts, tracksuits and jumpers are available to purchase from Andrew Kennedy. For more information please visit the CLOTHING page.
Chairman
Tim Spelling would like to update you on the progress of the special clothing
to celebrate the 100 years of cricket at Castle Park. We have 9 jackets
and 17 caps on order for members and we are going to order 20 caps for
stock. If people are still undecided as to whether to order a jacket or
cap we will need orders confirmed with payments on March 15th. If the
costs is an issue, jackets cost £193 each and the caps £28.20
each then contact Tim Spelling and things can be worked out in confidence.
There will be material left over and it is possible to have jackets and
caps made later. But why not seize the moment and order now?
-ADVERTISING
SIGNS AT THE CLUB
We
are have seven advertising signs at the club, in front of the clubhouse,
and there are oppotunities to double this if we can gather some support
from club members. The cost would be £200pa plus the cost of the
board itself and we would be seeking a two year deal. With the amount
of cricket to be played at the ground this year and the numbers of people
passing through the club, it must be a very cost effective way to advertise
so please have a think for new advertisers and let Lorrie Austin know
ASAP. For further details please see the Sponsorship page.
