200 Club
2/2/09 - We are now entering the fourth year of the 200 Gold Club. To date we have raised £4500 which has helped fund a new bowling machine for the use of both junior and senior cricketers and will go towards the new square and covers we are hoping to install for 2009. We currently have 99 members, but would ideally like to increase that to well over 100, which guarantees an income of £3,000 per annum for the club.
This is an excellent way of fundraising for the club and we hope you will be able to join this exclusive venture. If every club member can get 3 people to sign up to this 200 Gold club, we would make ~£8000 per annum. So please make the effort to persuade parents, family, friends, neighbours, supporters to sign up. Details of this 200 Gold club are as follows:-
- All members will receive CEECC fixture card
- All members will be granted entrance to the pavilion during Essex County Cricket Week (In 2009 this will take place Weds 19th to Sun 23rd August)
- To join the new 200 Gold club the membership fee will be £5 per month
- You are more than welcome to take out more than one membership per person – IE For the rest of your family
- The membership fee will be payable by standing order only. Payments of £5 per calendar month will be taken from your bank account on the 1st working day of each month
On the 1st Saturday of each month there will be a draw with prizes as follows:-
- 1st Prize - 1 x £100
- 2nd Prize - 1 x £50
- 3rd Prize - 2 x £25
- Every quarter (March, June, September, December) there will be an extra quarterly bonus prize of £150

You can be safe in the knowledge that the profits from this fundraising initiative will be used in the best way to further enhance the cricket experience at Colchester. We have recently invested in new outdoor net facilities and our long term aim is to get a top class indoor facility at the Castle Park. We have an excellent Colts set-up and hope to further enhance this by providing new and up to date training and coaching equipment so that the club can continue to produce quality young cricketers that will ultimately go on to represent both their club and county at senior level.

If a club member gets 5 people from outside of the cricket club to sign up for this venture they will get one free membership for as long as those 5 people remain signed up. This is essentially a free lottery ticket so please make the effort!
